27 dresses is one of my favorite movies. My favorite part is when Jane goes looking for Kevin and tells him this:
I’ve been waiting my whole life for the right guy to come along and then you showed up. And you are nothing like the man I imagined. You’re cynical, and cranky, and impossible. But the truth is, fighting with you is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. And I think there’s a very good chance that I’m falling in love with you
I honestly think the person you're meant to be with is the person you wouldn't pick out for yourself intentionally. Just like Jane the person you want will be much different from the person you get, but you'll enjoy every minute of arguing/fighting/confusion/love/happiness/laughter with this person because they're the one who's hand is supposed to fit perfectly in yours.
