In Fear in Faith were the first band to come on, I actually didn't like their set. They lacked stage presence and just seemed to have no energy. They couldn't connect with the audience like the other bands did. I might have liked one or two of their songs, but they still weren't all that great. Maybe they shouldn't have been on this tour.
Just a thought.
Of Mice and Men were next after well of course they took off In Fear in Faith's equipment and then brought on OM&M's and sound checked theirs. OM&M's set was really good. That was the first time I'd seen them in live and I wouldn't mind seeing them again. They had great energy and all their songs sounded pretty good. I used to have their albums actually, until my external hard drive broke. I really need to replace my external hard drive =/
Pierce The Veil, my favorite band, came on next. They were amazing. The whole crowd wanted Pierce The Veil to do another song after their set was over, but since they were one of the openers they couldn't do another song. However, it was really amazing to hear the whole crowd sing along to every word of each of Pierce The Veil's songs. Let's put this way, SoCal loves Pierce The Veil. Well Pierce The Veil is from San Diego haha. Their set was pretty much the same from the Vegas show except they used the Dexter theme song to open their set instead of Thriller. And instead of covering Drake's song Find Your Love they covered G6. I'll post a video at the bottom of the blog with their G6 cover and Caraphernelia (their own song). I didn't record the videos btw.
Emmure was on next, but Kim, Fabi, and I didn't watch them because we went to the lobby to wait around for Pierce The Veil to come out and sign stuff. But we could hear Emmure from the lobby and they sounded alright. Vic(Singer/guitar of PTV) and his brother Mike (drummer of PTV) came out first. We got pictures with them and had them sign our tickets. Mike and me talked about Harry Potter (we're both Harry Potter fans) and I just told him they had a good show. Vic and I just talked about the show and how I saw them in Vegas last month. Nothing too exciting. After that we just waited around for Jaime (bassist/vocals of PTV) and Tony(lead guitar of PTV) to come out.
Finally the headlining band, Attack! Attack! came on. They were pretty good, but I still don't think they should have headlined over Pierce The Veil. Attack! Attack! sounded great (I didn't watch them either , I was in the lobby still), but I think Pierce The Veil is just a much more energetic band and they they're just amazing live.
Jaime came out finally and I got to actually talk to him this time. I didn't get to talk to him when I was in Vegas to see them. Me and him ended up reciting lines from our favorite movie, Scream. The other people around us had no idea what we were talking about , it was kind of funny. That ended in him giving me a hug and asking me to see Scream 4 with him. Jaime's just too adorable :)
Tony never came out to sign, so I asked Vic to give Tony this collectors Star Wars coin, which Vic either lost or kept for himself because Tony never got his coin (I asked him via twitter). Oh well. I would have given the coin to Jaime to give to Tony, but Jaime is a klutz and would probably lose it. Tony told me he was making Vic look for the coin lol. So hopefully Vic found it.
Here are the pics I took with them:

Those videos aren't from the night that went. I don't think anyone recorded their show in Pomona, if they did I couldn't find them on youtube. Enjoy the videos .
I never did an album review for their album Selfish Machines, so that will be coming up along with my review of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows and some other things. Sorry for lagging on the blogging.
Xoxo
