Each of this ten artists are considered "game changers" to me. Most are bands on this list, but however everyone on this list is an amazing artist. All of their Albums and or EP's are great, and 2010 has been a really great year for these artists and I think 2011 will be a bigger year from them all.  I will only talk about the first 5.

Pierce The Veil - Formed three years ago sometime in 2007. They had been touring for a good two and half years on their first album, "A Flair For The Dramatic" which doesn't even have the full band on it (only Mike and Vic Fuentes are on that album), however it's still a great album. Finally in the later half of 2009 they went into the studio finally and recorded their sophomore album "Selfish Machines" this time the full band on is on the album. This album is just great and I will be writing a separate just talking about this album and Katy Perry's new album. Back to PTV, after the releasing of "Selfish Machines" they just boomed. They went on  the full  Warped  tour 2010, and then a had a few weeks off then went to New Zealand and Australia for a couple of shows and then back home for a couple of weeks then went to Japan for about a week and then came back. They played Rock The Block in Vegas(October 21st) with A Day To Remember. They had a few days of break, and then they played a surprise set on the Pomona date for the fall AP tour. Then early november they started the This Is A Family  Tour which just finished on Dec 21st.  The boys have a couple days of until Jan 3rd or 4th I believe and then they are back on tour for a bit then they have two months and back on the road again.

I can just say this has been a great year for them. They've played a lot of great shows. I've seen footage of them from warped tour performances, performances in Japan, Australia, New Zealand , I actually went to their Vegas show, I saw footage of their set from the Pomona date of the AP Tour, and I went to the Pomona date for this is a family tour. They really are such a great band. I'm excited to see them on their upcoming tours for 2011. So Far I'm seeing them three times for 2011!

Katy Perry - Katy released her sophomore album, "Teenage Dream," earlier this year , and let me tell you it's really some of the best pop music out on the radio right now. I haven't really enjoyed a lot of the pop on the radio these passed couple of years because the only good artists that have stood out to me the past two years or so on the radio have been Lady Gaga and Katy Perry. With the exception to Britney Spears' latest album Circus. As for new pop artists, none of them have really grabbed my attention musically. There's a lot of the autotune usage in pop artists these days and I don't like it. So I'm really glad that there are still good genuine pop stars like Lady Gaga and Katy Perry.  Katy has been on top of everything this year in her career, fashion, award shows, her music. She's just been great. I'm really happy to say that she is my favorite pop artist. Check back in a couple of days on my track by track opinion of "Teenage Dream".

Hey Monday - I talked about their EP that was released earlier this year in a couple of blogs.  Click here to read what I thought about the EP . As I said in the previous blog about them, that the EP was really great. I wasn't the only one to think so, because I've heard a lot of great things about this EP from others.  I haven't seem them live in a bout year, but I know they do put on a good show. I'm hoping 2011 will be a great year for them.

Bring Me The Horizon - Bring Me The Horizon is a hardcore band from England. They're one of the best hardcore bands in the music scene today and not best Oli (lead vox) is a cutie. But their songs are just really great. Their new album is amazing and is getting great reviews. I've only seen footage of them live, but the footage that I did see was great. And I'm very excited to see them play in 2011.  They headlined Warped Tour 2010 which is really amazing to be a headliner for warped. They brought a big crowd from what I heard at every Warped stop! Amazing right? I haven't gotten my hands on a copy of the new album "There Is A Hell , believe me I've seen it. There Is A Heaven, let's keep it secret", but I've listened to the tracks on youtube and I have to say this album is really amazing. I think it might be one of their best albums.  They've been on multiple magazine covers this year and have headlined some pretty big tours as well. So do I have to say this year has been an amazing one for them.

The Downtown Fiction - I've actually gotten the chance to know these three guys. Not only are they some of the nicest guys you can meet, but some of the most talented. They've only been a band for two years, and they've already got  a record deal within a year of being a band, have had two selling EPs, have played some great shows and is working on their first full length, which will be out sometime in 2011. They played a few shows on Warped Tour this year, they went on tour with the Summer Set, played the Bamboozle road show, and some other shows. Their current EP "Best I Never Had" is doing really well on their charts. Really this year has been great for them and they will be joining The Ready Set and We Are The In Crowd on the Glamour Kills 2011 tour. I might actually be going so I'm excited. I haven't yet got a chance to see The Downtown Fiction, but they really are a great band and they deserve to be where they are right now.
