Hey Monday recently released an EP called "Beneath It All" as a follow up to their Freshman Album "Hold On Tight." The Ep, "Beneath It All", is probably one of my favorite EP's a band has ever released.
The EP is very much a pop-rock EP well more of a pop punk sound to be exact. However, this EP is absolutely amazing. It's very catchy, very danceable, and its relatable, especially for girls. The front-woman, Cassadee Pope wrote majority of the lyrics as she did with their album, Hold On Tight. I think this EP surpasses their first album honestly. I love how simple and straight to the point it is, yet still very enjoyable.
My favorite track off the EP is "I don't wanna dance". I think anyone could relate to this song because it's about someone who you once thought was all you wanted , but they do something to ruin that and yet the person is trying to date you/get with you. I can't stop listening to it.
