Britney Monae And Swirling Thoughts: Vegas and Pierce The Veil

so friday morning, summer, me, and her mom left early for vegas. we left around 9 am got there at 1pm. we chilled at our hotel in stateline(about 30-45 mins from vegas). around 5 we left to go down to the venue.

the venue is an outdoor venue. it’s kind of like in an open alley way. the line to get your tickets and then get inside the gate was intense. i got patted down by some creepy old guy to make sure i didn’t have weapons ? lol everyone got patted down. summer was so not amused. (summer’s mom went gambling during the concert).

by the time we get through the gate, we missed the first half of lower definition’s set and the whole set of the first band. pierce the veil came on after lower d.

pierce the veil fucking opened the show up with thriller!(michael jackson’s song). it was fucking amazing. they played besitos, sky under the sea, currents, yeah boy and doll face, chemical kids and mechincal brides, find your love(intro), the boy who could fly ,and caraphernelia as their closer.

they were fucking amazing! that was my first time seeing pierce the veil and i’ve been a fan for three years ): they’re definitely one of the best bands i’ve seen live. they have so much energy and seriously vic sounds amazing live. if you haven’t gotten a chance to see pierce the veil live yet, go fucking do it! you will not be let down. i guarantee it. i called fabi during ptv’s set and she pretty much heard everything from chemical kids to caraphernelia. Jeremy didn’t come out and scream on caraphernelia. oH WELL!

a day to remember came on after pierce the veil and they were really good too. but i’m sorry pierce the veil fucking owned the show! the boys came out and started signing and taking pics with people as soon as adtr were done.

I didn’t get to talk to them much except for mike. cause jaime and tony were the first ones i got pics with and people were crowding jaime big time, so it was just ”hi” “hi” “good show” “thanks” *pic* *hug* and then i had to go through another crowd to get to tony. tony is so freaking adorable. i also didn’t get to talk much to him either. but he gave me a hug as well. around the time i finally got a pic with mike the guys weren’t as crowded as much so i got talk to mike more. we talked about the pomona show coming up next month with attack! attack! i had to explain to him where the fox theater was and i told him how my friend’s band will be opening that show. he thanked me for coming out to the show and then we took the pic and he gave me a hug and thanked me once again for coming to the show.

when i went to take a pic with vic finally, no one was really there mainly cause security was kicking more of the under age kids than the other people at the show. so i was able to get a pic with vic. i didn’t talk to him much cause security was being a douche and said it was time to go. so i just got the pic with him, got a hug and he thanked me for coming out to the show as well.

if anyone thought mike was a douche or intimidating, he’s not! he’s a sweet heart . i just wish i got to talk to the rest of the boys more . oh well, maybe at next month’s show i’ll get a better chance to talk to them more.

after we left the venue, we went back to our hotel in stateline. got some mickey d’s. ate and went to bed.

this morning we ate this cafe in primm valley, and then walked around the outlet mall. then me and summer went to go see the town at buffalo bill’s .if you haven’t seen the town go see it. it was so good. then pretty much after that we headed home.

i had a lot of fun at the show. it was super fun meeting desiree too. she’s rad sauce.
