Well in the last month, I've became a Starkiddie. They're a musical production company , and they're awesome sauce!
They're responsible for the Harry Potter musicals, tilted "A Very Potter Musical", and "A Very Potter Sequel". And also their musical, "Me And My Dick". I am in love with their musicals and the whole people involved making all of their musicals possible.
Anyways, Starkid is releasing their newest musical, "Starship", this weekend. April 30th on youtube. Depending on where you live it premieres at different times for PST, it will be on at 7pm, for CT, 9PM, and EST will be 10 pm. I'm pretty stoked for this new musical. I feel like I've been waiting ages for the musical to come out haha.
I'm actually one of the lucky people who get to go to the screenings for the musical. Starkid is holding screenings for Starship in three different cities in the country. Two in Los Angeles, two in Chicago, and three in New York. What's so rad about going to the screenings?
Well Starkid is splitting the cast members and sending them to the various screenings. So not only will you get to watch Starship with some of the cast members, but there will also be a Meet and Greet and a Q&A session with the cast members at the screening you're attending.
If you're at the LA screenings, the cast members that you will get to meet are Brian Holden, Nick Lang, Joe Walker, and Brant Cox.
Chicago: Matt Lang, Dylan Saunders, Jaime Lyn Beatty, Jim Povolo, Meredith Stepien, Denise Donovan
New York: Lauren Lopez, Joe Moses, and Julia Albain.
I'm pretty excited for the LA screening! I'm going to the Sunday screening. Though I will still watch the youtube premiere.
